After many many hours of traveling...and many many months apart...we have arrived safely to our home in Oman!!! The kids did really well on the airplane rides (only a couple of melt downs). Having Joel's parents along for the trip REALLY helped. Especially when Katheryn had to pee 5 times in 15 minutes and when Luke had a few blow outs. Overall, they were GREAT! I had a lot of compliments on how well they behaved. (Most of them came while they were all sleeping.)

We arrived in Muscat Tuesday night. The girls were so excited when they saw Joel. They both ran to him screaming. Luke tried to stay awake, but we were delayed at the baggage claim behind security waiting for our stroller, and he fell asleep. We found out that the stroller was still in London. That's ok though. With all the luggage we had, it wouldn't have fit in the Prado. So British Airways is making sure it gets to us eventually. Once again, it doesn't matter. We won't be walking around a Target or Mall anytime soon. Joel was very excited to see us and I was VERY excited to see him.

We spent the night in Muscat and then started the drive to Salalah Wednesday morning. It took two days to drive down. Today was the longer part of the drive. We saw a lot of sand. And more sand. I thought it was funny when Katheryn wanted to play "I spy". It reminded me of the moose in "Brother Bear" playing "I spy" on top of the mammoth.

When we got here, Joel had the place all set up with the goods we had shipped. The girls went right to their room and within 15 minutes had tried on every dress up clothing and played with every other toy in their room! Needless to say, they were excited to see familiar things. Especially their things.

So, after 6 months of living out of a suitcase (Stitzel's for a week, Florida for 1.5 week, Gempler's for another week, Oman for a week, Mississippi for 4 months, Florida for 1 month), WE ARE HERE!!!!!
