On Monday, Joel got his flight physical and the whole family caught up on vaccinations. All except Claire. Then we headed to Heidelburg! Is was the coolest town! I love it and want to move there (and everywhere else). Heidelburg castel was our first castle to visit. It was so neat to see where real kings and queens actually lived. It was so amazing! We did not go inside this castle. But the outside was still impressive enough for me. We hung out and played in the courtyard for a while. It was beautiful!!

The picture below is in front of the powder tower. It was used to store gun powder in. During a battle, a canon was shot in it blew half of the tower off. Not into pieces. The whole thing just fell off.
