We got to Edelweiss late Tuesday night! Edelweiss is a US military resort in Germany! The location is spectacular! It is nestled right at the bottom of these mountains. It is a little over a year old (the hotel part) and just beautiful! They are having specials for military who have been deployed (I think for a year-long deployment) that should really be taken advantage of. We met quite a few families who were meeting there for the spouse's R&R. The specials are great so if you know anyone deployed for a year, pass it on!

They have day trips to Italy, Austria and other Regions in the area.

There are restaurants and a coffee shop, pool and hot tub, spa, all the fun things you need on vacation. (No, I didn't get a massage! We kept the days full of travel that there was no time!) Check out their web link if you are interested!
